Gallbladder dilemma.

I am hungry. But my gall bladder has been hurting more and more for the past few hours (since ~8pm). Do I:
a) sit here being hungry, as eating runs the risk of horrible sickness later
or b) eat something with no fat in it, as not eating makes me miserable now?

It's one of those damned-if-you-do-and-damned-if-you-don't kind of things. I'll probably regret it whatever I do.

Drink a couple of glasses of water; it will fill your tummy and give you some time to decide if you're really hungry.

That advice really doesn't work for me - if I'm already ravenously hungry (which I was - the question wasn't "am I hungry or not?" but "is it worth me risking eating?") then liquids slosh around inside my stomach and make me feel worse. Normally in that state I eat ginger biscuits, but I can't at the moment because of their fat content. I was contemplating making gingerbread, but didn't want to have to deal with the banana - I'm having paranoia about giving myself latex cross-allergies again. Hrm.
