I can see how some autistic behaviours are a problem. For example, if someone can't stop injuring themselves (e.g. banging their head against the wall), especially if they don't even want to do it, then that's a problem. But if someone has a compulsive urge to sort things or count things? Great! Give them a collection of possibly-valuable items which need to be arranged and price-checked, or let them loose in a messy house. I just don't see how that's a problem unless all they want to do is count things.

The only reason that rocking or flapping is a problem is because neurotypical people stare. Otherwise, who cares? It's just so frustrating to have judgements placed on people.

Grant is very good at "passing" for NT but, assuming that form is scored by adding up the numbers, he got 25. I tried it for myself and scored 7. According to an academic paper I found, average for an autistic person of his age and functioning level is 21.something.
