Invocation of Murphy's Law.
The past two days, I've got out of work promptly at 9pm. And on both of these days, the train I'd usually catch - the 21:33 - has been delayed by an annoyingly large amount. On Monday, Richard and I gave up waiting for a Kingston train and went to Surbiton instead, and on Tuesday it didn't leave until 21:45.
Today, I was delayed getting out of work, so I didn't get to Waterloo until 21:35, or thereabouts. So today, the damn 21:33 left on time, and it was the 22:03 that was delayed! Argh.
