Giant dancing condoms!

The 25 Most Baffling Toys From Around the World, from [livejournal.com profile] kixie. [livejournal.com profile] booklectic - have you seen the JESUS ROBOT? The, uh, transgendered baby dolls are quite weird too. As are the various alarming penises.

YouTube video: The Condom Song - Telegu. Link of the Day from User Friendly. It's a Bollywood-style educational video about use of condoms, and the song WILL get stuck in your brain. The thing I'm wondering is why there are sometimes 4 giant dancing condoms, and sometimes only 3. That's so random!

Another YouTube video: The Original Human TETRIS Performance, from [livejournal.com profile] nessbutterfly. Other games also available.

I think I may have to start looking for the Playmobil Toxic Waste Spillage playset next time I'm in town. Though none of the toys were quite as eyebrow raising as the Harry Potter vibrating broomsticks that were so popular with the girls a few christmasses ago :)

at last a context where transgendered makes sense baby dolls that have been transgendered, or did you mean transgender bay dolls i.e. unable to tell gender/cross gender clothed/cross gender featured or did you mean transexual baby dolls?

Look at the picture. The dolls have male genitalia but long blonde hair, meaning that it's hard to tell if they are "supposed" to be male, female, both or neither. I suppose it's possible that they are toys for gender variant children to play with, but that seems far too progressive to be real, even in 2008.

I think they're pretty nifty, anyway.
