I don't think I managed to send you a birthday card this year, although I certainly thought "Isn't it Mikey's birthday round about now?" a few weeks ago. Couldn't remember the exact date though, and have been up to my eyeballs with work and ill. It's been on my list of things to do when I have more spoons.
Ah yes, it's the Christmas card I'm thinking of! D'oh. I'm still here although I'm much more a Facebook and Twitter person these days. I still read though. :) All of my spoons seem to be used up on therapy, relationship (I know!) and exercise at the moment.
You just want a budget speech with a catchy chorus and a few synth power chords... no, no, now my brain is re-writing "Love To Hate You" with words about VAT and inheritance tax. Bad brain, no bikkit!
