I've reached new and exciting levels of wanting to kill someone (or at least, since I'm not terribly violent in real life, wanting to stab a cardboard cut-out of them repeatedly in the head with a fork). Actually, I have two different sources of stress right now:

1) my father, who is being A Git about the wedding plans (much more later).

2) the Graduate Committee at College, who seem to have decided that I'm "too disabled" to do the project I am supposed to be doing. Don't even ask right now, I have to keep enough spoons for the inevitable SHOUTING that is going to occur.

Let's post about something happy, for a change.

I got all of the Paralympics tickets that I ordered.

I know that one wheelchair rugby ticket is reserved for [livejournal.com profile] hiddenpaw and that [livejournal.com profile] skibbley and [livejournal.com profile] taimatsu were also interested in the Paralympics in general (and I asked to be seated in an area good for people who are deaf or hard of hearing for both the sitting volleyball and athletics).

Please now let me know who wants to go to what (and give me the money, so I can pay my credit card bill!) :)

Other Paralympics tickets are now going on sale, but I think I have enough already.

Re: part 2 of this, I have had a discussion with several different people which may achieve mutual satisfactory resolution. More about that later. However, I am still stressed out of my little brain.

What is an appropriate method for someone who doesn't drink alcohol to achieve the feeling of "going to get very drunk"? Best I can think of so far is going to eat a large quantity of chocolate ice cream or mousse, but that doesn't feel special enough for the amount of stress that I need to dump. Especially as there isn't any REALLY GOOD vegan ice cream available here. (If I were in the US, I'd go to get one of those pots of Purely Delicious vegan gluten-free Cookie Dough and eat it until I no longer wanted to eat it - but here there really isn't anything that I don't have as dessert on a regular basis.)
