Tesco's own brand "Double choc chip cookies" contain wheat, gluten and soya. No dairy or egg listed in the ingredients or in the allergy box on the back :)

And they are goooooood - if you leave the packet open overnight they turn from crispy biscuits into squidgy American-style cookies.

And at two packets for 90p (400g of cookie!) you can't really complain.

Shame I don't have any other reason to go to Tesco, really.

Thanks for confirming a) that you live, b) that the parcel arrived. Something else I sent that same day got returned to me, so I'm feeling worried about all of it. Not least of all because I posted it last Friday and it was put through my door on Tuesday - that's not enough time for something to go to the US and back, even by air mail!

I've noticed the same about them going squidy - that was a pleasant discovery.

My main reason for going to Tesco is that the nearest one to me is open 24 hours so I can go at 11pm and not fight the queues.
