Locked and Loaded

baratronAfter the last week of DOOOOM!! I have very little work this week. So I have designated it Official Catch-Up On Video Games Week. So far I have been playing Pokemon Ruby, Spyro: A Hero's Tail, Zelda: The Wind Waker and Ratchet & Clank 2. I've been working my way through the latter two games veeeeeerrrry slowly for over a year - my most recent save game for the Wind Waker was from December, and Ratchet & Clank was from April 2004. Er, yes.
I am posting in lj simply because I've just died in one particular R&C level for the millionth time, and it's totally getting on my nerves.

alexa_robinson is here at the moment, and yesterday involved us going to the sushi restaurant in Kingston and then having a Borders-related incident. You know, the kind where you get sucked into a bookshop and emerge with a colossal bag of books you didn't know you needed? Fortunately, we were armed with Book Tokens, and my 20% Off All Books discount for preordering Harry Potter 6.
One of these days I will actually write the titles & authors of all the books I hear about and would be interested in buying in a little notebook that I'll carry around with me. Dunno when that'll ever be, though. Probably some time after I write the Pop'n Music 6 faq... (in-joke, meaning "never").
