By the way, the UK does have measurable earthquakes every so often, especially in some parts of Wales - they're just feeble compared to everywhere else :) I think the average is about 4.5 on the Richter scale.

(sometime around then anyway) that was centred somewhere off the coast of north wales, which was certainly quite noticeable in the wirral. the one of 1987-ish i didn't even notice at all (too busy concentrating on my maths lesson, i suppose ;-))
