I've discovered that the venue where the Wildhearts are playing on Tuesday is not just a concert place. It has a fun pool. With waterflumes.

And on Tuesdays, there is a Happy Hour with reduced admission from 5-7pm. I am now fighting the urge to go on the flumes before going to the gig. The combination of waterflumes and the Wildhearts is almost irresistible... at least to me and bethdeth.

Well, I couldn't go on the flumes because I had an asthma attack the night before and got sod all sleep. And then I had an anxiety attack and didn't feel like it. Huh. Next time. There will be a next time...

btw, it might be worth you trying to come to the UK the weekend of June 12th & 13th... The Lost Weekend tour thingy will feature The Wildhearts and a bunch of other bands - with Danny looking healthier and the band playing tighter than ever, you really shouldn't miss it...

Now I've got this image of the band playing at the pool side. with all the audience in the pool. I think I'll stop there before I invent underwater moshing. Oh dear to late. Now all we need is a band really that mad and I'd have to find some really goth swim wear.

Lost Weekend, eh? I just re-subscribed to the LiST, so some research will be done into this. As it happens, it's perfect timing for me.
Oh joy! If it goes through, that will be the second natural phenomenon I can cross off my 'must see at least once in my life' list: the northern lights and the Lights of the North (Wildies)! Har har har...
