Birthday presents, and feeling ill.

I've been at home all day because I was too ill to go into work. What's been the problem. I was going to spend the evening writing my thank you letters, but I just don't feel well enough. My head hurts enough that I want to lie down and sleep it off, but I'm not tired enough. It hurts in a way that makes me think maybe I shouldn't be using the computer - but whenever I stop using the computer it hurts a lot more. At least sitting here typing is keeping me active so that I don't focus on the pain.

In case you're interested, this is what I've been given for my birthday.

• A Tussauds season pass, from Richard - £70 gets me a years-worth of free admission to UK theme parks, and even a few European ones.
  
• The first Will & Grace DVD - episodes 1-8 of series 1.
  
• Pop'n Music 4 - the fourth installment of my favourite rhythm_action game.
  
• "His Dark Materials" Gift Set - 3 books by Philip Pullman
  
• Other books: "The Truth" - Terry Pratchett, "The Spirit Ring" - Lois McMaster Bujold, "Dream Country"- Neil Gaiman, "The Dispossessed" - Ursula Le Guin
  
• A Sandman trading card set
  

My wishlist has been updated accordingly :)
