h-l in getting up in the morning shocker

I got up at 7.30am today. This is probably because I got in at 7.30pm last night and went straight to bed. I had virtually no sleep on Thursday night due to pain, so I'm feeling a bit fragile now.

Today is not my birthday. It has been postponed until after my thesis deadline. Having said that, Richard woke me up at 2am with a present of a hardback book which is approximately the right size and shape to be the new Harry Potter book. I haven't dared open it, in case it is, and I then have to spend the next day-and-a-half reading it. Damn, I don't need the distraction :/

I don't know yet! My thesis deadline is 5.30pm on Monday June 30th. But I'm hoping I may be able to hand it in before that. Have to see how it goes.
