chronic_health. The summary of it is that I need to write a letter to my family explaining what I'm up to at the moment and why I can't go to visit them over Christmas, dropping in the facts that (a) I've been really quite ill and (b) I dropped out of my PhD two years ago due to (a), but I haven't got a clue how to word it.
