I am grumpy nonetheless because my back is hurting so badly that I couldn't get out of bed for hours today because I couldn't actually stand up or walk. Ow ow ow. Sometimes bits of me decide to hurt just to remind me that they're broken - as if I'd otherwise forget! I think this was triggered by the ridiculously uncomfortable chairs in the room where the PhD talks happened on Monday, which means I'm going to have to ask for a chair with proper back support to be provided for every meeting that happens in that room and somehow ensure it is reserved for my use. Godfreakingdamnit. As if I didn't have enough hassle having to ask for a "special" chair all the time already!
