Anyone have a recommendation for a good Windows client? I'm using one of unknown name which is ancient (version 1.4.6-lite, Mon Dec 25 2000) and which has very few features. I specifically want one that'll let me move a post if I make it in the wrong journal (e.g. in my own journal when it should be in a community). I'm sure one of the newer clients does that, but I don't know which one...

I'm usingg Semagic 1.3.3.2, which seems to do everything I want, pretty much. It doesn't let you move posts as such, but it makes it pretty easy to replicate the effect by judicious use of its clipboard.

I completely agree. It's what I've been using when using Windows and it does everything you'd want it to do, including alerts on friends posts should you wish.

I had a feeling there was some sort of politics around lj and Semagic, like the developer had had a falling out with the rest of the lj team and the client was no longer supported...? That's why I didn't download it when I was having annoyances before...
