For anyone who doesn't already know, I seem to have got myself into a weekly timetable whereby I'm working part time, but seven days a week. What's up with that? I'm just too popular, that's the problem :) On Sundays I have A-level students come to the house in the morning (£50 for getting up early seems worth it to me), during the week I do a couple of hours a day of one-to-one tutoring mostly in the kids' houses, but on Saturdays I'm at the college teaching classes from 10am to 4pm. Eurgh. I don't like teaching classes - it involves actual preparation of material and marking and being awake and dressed in smart clothes and...
ok, you got me. This is a whine :) Of course I don't really hate teaching at the college - if I did, I wouldn't do it. But it's just about 10 times more stressful than teaching at home, and it involves morning, and I feel as though I'm going down with something (sneezy, and absolutely ravenously hungry). And I really hate having to go to bed early on a Friday night because I've got to work on a Saturday morning! (Notice that I've entirely failed to do that, again). Waah.
