I now have a paid account. Yay!

To celebrate this fact, I've created a new icon for myself - a StorTrooper standing in front of a bi pride flag. I like it, anyway.

I also created this picture using tools in The Gimp. As I'm not normally particularly artistic, I thought I'd display it here as a token of my great courage.

That is tres nifty. Hm. If I could do similar artistic things to a picture of me, I might not feel so unphotogenic. I swear, I don't look like a freak in real life, but for some reason pictures of me always look freaky - usually my expression is some kind of strange. It's disconcerting, and rather annoying. I think I have a geas on me, that no machine can ever steal my soul, which means that no photograph of me will ever actually look like me. ;) Anyway, I truly like this picture - it looks like a charcoal drawing, very very nice! Bravo!

Glad you like it. I think all of the photos I took at alt.polycon are appalling, which is one reason they haven't been scanned yet (the other is that Richard has been far too busy to scan them). But I'll have a look and if any of the ones of you aren't too bad, I'll see what I can do.
