I note that lots of people seem to have cool new user pictures, namely narenek, inquis, clairaide and mactavish. Rose's picture in particular is truly yummy ;)

Nice pics, was it a special event of some kind, or merely a "Why don't we take photos of me in chainmail" sort of afternoon?

Thanks! It wasn't a special occasion, exactly... I was at a convention, and one of the other people there was knitting chainmail. He had a set half-done and they didn't need to be very big *grin* so he finished them there, I tied them on with some string I had (I tie knots in string for a living, and had my travel kit with me), and liked them so much I bought them.
