introspection
Aug. 22nd, 2005 04:45 pmIf I'm going to be ill for any length of time, I should add a lot of the journals I normally only skim back to my Default View. Especially the more literary writers and the communities that I usually don't have time for - that might help this feeling of isolation & loneliness.
Except I am still thoroughly in Denial about being ill, and clinging to the clueless over-optimistic idea that I might be better, soon, where soon is a moving target somewhere around this time next week.
No, I don't know which user icon best fits this, either.

Date: 2005-08-22 11:06 pm (UTC)Short ping email conversations work surprisingly well. I can reply to short mails much more easily than long ones. I'm very good at letting long emails fester. The problem is, a long email triggers procrastination because "I have to sit here for half an hour and compose something of similar length & clarity", and I get stressed about it - but short emails don't do that, and I can reply to them in 5 or 10 minutes.
