The muffled thump I heard earlier today was the 2006 Ikea Catalogue coming through my letterbox.

Oh, I know what I'm doing tonight... ;)

*grin*

I used to feel the same way about the Littlewoods catalogue. I've probably said too much.

Sadly we are not in the catchment area of Ikea, so no catalogue.

Eeep!

Would you like me to send you one?

Probably not, thanks very much for the offer. I'd love to go to Ikea, but I don't see how without a car, plus we're right in the middle between two of them & it's about a gazillion miles to Bristol. :-(

Ahh.

Wait, Bristol? I thought you were in Winchester. Isn't Southampton closer? By quite a long way?

If you ever find yourself up this way, Croydon Ikea is perfectly accessible without a car. Train to Wimbledon, Tramlink to Ampere Way. The tram stop is immediately outside Ikea.

I'm pretty sure there isn't an Ikea in Southampton... not according to the website either.
We tried to drive to the one in Croydon once and it's definitely a very very long way from the M25, not at all like the map in the back of the catalogue. I guess the tram is okay if you want small things though.
