Yesterday I found out the name for a trait I have, which is breaking off in the middle of sentences for no apparent reason. Apparently it is aposiopesis. You learn something every day. I'm not sure for certain that it's the perfect word, because I trail off because I get distracted rather than because I'm overcome with emotion, but it'll do for now :)

I think it's far from the perfect word. One would thing that for practical reasons the perfect word for such a condition would be shorter.

Not sure if that helps, but it's worth a go. Hmm... My abdominal pain is still going strongly, so I'm going back to the doctor's tomorrow. It's not disabilitating, but just scary and irritating.

Oh, is there a word for suddenly forgetting your nouns as well?
