I think there's some element of that in you - probably not as much..I'm more like baratron in that respect, but at the same time, I'm like you in that I discount the fact that the person would be ever interested in me and would more likely find me too fat and revolting, so I just hide and say nothing and push any interest out of my mind because *obviously* I don't want to make the object of my interest feel uncomfortable.
