baratron has just been moved into the Astor ward (the same ward as last time. Interestingly, my phone wants to call it "Bruns" or "Crump") having spent a day in the Clinical Decisions Unit waiting for a bed to be freed. She's in pretty much constant discomfort, and eating is not easy, so I don't want to think what state she'd be in without painkillers. The doctors would love to just remove the irksome little bugger, but can't while it's inflamed without making it a much more major procedure. The doctor who saw her last night announced that she was probably passing a gallstone, which is probably more painful than it sounds.
Virtual hugs welcome, and will be passed along.
