the calendar never lies!
Feb. 25th, 2006 11:16 pmOh yes, just in case anyone cares, I have PROOF that my current period is way early, from the fact that I specifically recorded one starting on 5th December. I know I've had two more since then, including one that turned up around New Year's Day, but even considering that December and January are "long" months and we gain a week in the middle, this one is at least 4 days early.
Just to reward those of you who bothered to read this, here's a cartoon that amused me.

Date: 2006-02-26 12:15 am (UTC)My average was 33 days, 29 was early and 27 (which has happened exactly once naturally) was freakishly early. 42 was actually quite common for a while, particularly after my sister started menstruating, because her body wanted a short cycle and my body obviously did not, so she was on 21 and I was on 42. My poor mother who was going through menopause said her body didn't know what to do. (I've been on the pill the last five years, so they're pretty boring now).

Date: 2006-02-26 12:23 am (UTC)My period has always been kind of a mess timing-wise, so four days would be nothing, but I do keep semi-obsessive track in a file named "blood" on this computer. (The fact that this is the old, not-entirely-working laptop means I may have to move my file soon. Grr.)

Date: 2006-02-26 08:00 pm (UTC)Also, I usually go seriously nuts around day 25, and I didn't have that this month. I'm not *complaining* about that, just wondering what's going on.
This period was fairly icky, as well. Sometimes when it's early, it's also quite light, but this one wasn't. Hmmm.
