Happy birthday stellarwind! Don't try to tell me it was in December, I've only just got your present ready. Me singing the Portal song. About 3 MB. Not entirely in tune.

More voice recorder silliness: A previous recording gets interrupted by my phone ringing, causing me to completely lose the tune. Save the file and skip ahead to about 1 min 15 sec (1.4 MB). And I bemoan Noun Disease, with the extra irony of an unintentional word displacement near the end (354 kB).

This will be especially fun for anyone who's never heard my voice. Maybe.

You've heard my voice before, though - through the DS when we were trading Pokemon. Not exactly the same thing, I suppose.

Also, it took about 10 attempts to get a recording in which I was singing in tune for more than 3/4 of the song :) I rather like how my voice sounds through this recorder - it sounds quite close to how my voice sounds when I hear myself speak, rather than all high-pitched and squeaky like it does on tape.

I should probably post the link up at 'Charms, but not right now. Supposed to be writing a website.

I forgot that I had heard you via the DS... But, yeah. Not quite the same quality as something like this.

I second the posting it at Charms, whenever you have the time of course ^^ I'm sure it'd get an interesting reaction out of some members.

And speaking of tapes altering the sound of your voice... I honestly loathe hearing my own voice played back at me, but I don't think I can blame it solely on tapes. It seems any recording of my voice is enough to make me cower behind a couch until it goes away. >>;
