Bank Holiday Monday

It's incredibly odd to look at livejournal after it's been a public holiday where you live, to find that it's been an entirely normal work day for your friends in other parts of the world.

Just a quick observation :)

I find that too.

Weirder for me was when Jack Layton died and it was all Canadians could talk about -- online, in person, everywhere -- and yet most of the internet was just going on with their daily posting about So You Think You Can Dance or whatever.
