Just received this email from amazon.co.uk:

Dear Amazon.co.uk customer

To celebrate the launch of our fantastic new shop, we'll give you GBP 15
off your next order when you spend GBP 50 or more in Kitchen & Home*. Terms
and conditions apply.

Noooo! Don't encourage me to buy more kitchenware! We already have too much to fit in our actual kitchen! And we still don't have one of every type of knife, or a pizza cutter... (I'll spare you the complete list).

*twitch, twitch*. [livejournal.com profile] meeping and [livejournal.com profile] gerwinium will feel my pain. Tim actually proposed to me a few weeks ago, on the basis that if we got married, we could get people to buy us lots of kitchenware, and split it between us. They are apparently needing to do an Ikea trip, just for kitchenware...

Ikea for kitchen ware?

I fear!!! I like kitchen stuff, but am waiting until we are out of the kitchen of slime - which although tidy still results in stuff getting wrecked or slimed on.

I like the marriage idea, altho to be honest I probably have a weddings worth of stuff under my bed at home, a slow cooker, electric mixer, a kettle or 2, an iron, and gawd knows what else my mum has 'inherited' for me.

:)

Ikea is REALLY CHEAP for kitchenware. Richard & I went insane there last time we went, buying all sorts of things that we only vaguely needed, and still only spent £20 :) It's good-quality, too.

Thats almost tempting, considering I hate shopping, especially Ikea.

Hehehe

Oh, my mum bought us a gravy ladle and a serving spoon. We can do with a new cork screw though.

One serving spoon is not enough! We have four, and I'm still not sure that's enough.

You can probably get away with one gravy ladle, unless you want to make Meaty and Vegetarian gravy in the same meal, or have Gravy followed by Custard...

Hang on a minute, are you trying to stop us buying you kitchenware?

Hmm... One for veggies and one for tatties, maybe two should do. ;)
