I've just run out of space on the bed. I'm set up here working on my thesis, and thus juggling three enormous governmental reports, two large textbooks, two folders of my own notes and a pile of papers from scientific journals. And five pillows, a laptop and an octopus.

I need a bigger bed!

That happens to me too, although usually it's when I'm moving in or out of somewhere and need every bit of space I can find for things that are coming out of or going into boxes.

Oy! I have one! Admittedly it's covered in inhalers and Olbas oil and vitamin pills, and other such things that I might need in the middle of the night, but it is the largest bedside table that will fit without completely reorganising the room.

I emailed Toni to ask her about your problem and she told me she received your email last night too late for her to think about it. She will give it some thought tonight and if our system is operating by then (email and internet were both down this morning ... GRRRRR) she will get you a reply off then.
