Same as me - I got 53% feminine, although it is judging me by just 57 words.

So far the BBC's What sex is your brain? (http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/hottopics/intelligence/brain_sex_quiz.shtml) quiz is the only one I've taken online that thought I was female. Of course, it thinks that everyone else I know who's taken it is female, too, including several of the guys in ICSF.

According to the poll link about the accuracy of the test, 57.5% of people said it came out with the wrong answer (out of a sample size of 5000 or so). That means it's slightly worse than random.

I do wonder if the problem is that people write in their journals differently than how they'd write (say) a letter or an essay. For instance, my style is very chatty and not very formal. I haven't bothered to follow the links in any detail to see what the algorithm is based on.

I'm just amused that I can actually do an online test which pegs me as female. Normally I come out strongly male or "androgynous".

Well, it's obviously based on my public journal entries, which, to be honest, are a tad stilted, but I think I came out at fifty something percent male. I too would be interested in what it was based on exactly.
