Merry Christmas for all who celebrate it, and happy holiday for those who don't.
Merry enforced sitting around making smalltalk with people you don't actually like very much, and Happy being stuck at home with no public transport and very few shops open...!
The transit will be running on a Sunday schedule, but it will be running--and there are enough Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, and atheists to keep shops open.
