Sunday update.

baratronI found something to cure my loneliness after all. Dan came round and we spent the afternoon together, for the first time in about a year. We had lunch in a pub and ran into Marcus and Cath, who were going to buy an exercise bike. So we accompanied them to Argos, where I made various "helpful" suggestions about the various bikes (pointing out the need to get one with a comfortable seat, for instance), and then went to Starbucks for a frappuccino frenzy. Coming home, we played Point Blank 3 and watched a video of crappy songs from 1987 that I'd picked up the day before for £1.99 from the ex-rental video shop on the Charing Cross Road. Dan went home and I watched Meet the Parents, which was moderately amusing.
