baratronI'm annoyed. LJ's picture-hosting issues mean that although I've finished the story & put it up, it's pointless giving out the link to anyone yet, because you won't be able to see half the pictures. For some reason, even though I know the pictures are there (because I uploaded them successfully yesterday), they're not showing today.
Yes, yes, I KNOW that LJ is busy moving around its servers. It's just personally annoying to me that the pictures that are showing are nos 1, 4, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31, 32, 35, 36, 39, 43, and then 46-64. Now, if it were pictures 1-40 that were there and 41-64 that were missing, it would be fine - you could start reading the story. Even if it was only pictures 1-10 that were showing up and all the rest were blank, you could get started. Whereas, as it is, with the missing images being all over the place, it's pointless even trying to read the first page.
Am eagerly awaiting this getting resolved, because I'm desperate for some feedback on the story (having poured literally hours of my life into it). And feeling a bit empty, because I can't work on two out of my three current stories for various reasons (lack of Romance mod & repercussions that'll spread across the whole Neighbourhood), so now I'm sitting here with Opera open clicking "refresh" every few minutes in the hope my lj pics will spring into life :/
