OK, we have to go to Blackpool. Apparently the Blackpool Sea Life Centre has a new exhibition called Suckers. And it features a hexapus! Photo here. I am dead of cute.

I've been wanting to go to Blackpool Pleasure Beach & ride the Pepsi Max Big One for ages, anyway. So this can be an official excuse. Anyone else want to come?

There is a reason I have non-militant veganism in my interests list ;)

(I think I'm about as far from PETA mentality as it's possible to get while still remaining herbivorous. I am vegan because it's better for my body, end of story. I do believe it would be better for the environment and making sure everyone in the world can be fed if people in general ate a lot more plants and a lot less meat, but I don't think that everyone in the world needs to become vegan. I am far more bothered by factory farming than I am by slaughter, so have no moral objection to free range animals that have a good life then are killed humanely.)

PETA also wanted Knut the polar bear to be killed, because it would be better for him than living a life in captivity. They are somewhat fucked in the head.
