Christmas cards - the 2009 version.

I'm rather annoyed because the vegetarian roast I wanted for Christmas Day has been discontinued. If I'd known they were going to discontinue it, I'd have stocked up... but I've actually been trying to stock up on it for months now. Just couldn't find it in any real-life wholefood shops, and I'm rather leery of online ones. (Principally because a lot of them don't have their online ordering system linked to their stock information, so you can order something and then find it'll be out of stock for the next 2 months). So I'm going to have to find something else to eat, and the other seitan roast I know of is 20% fat for no apparent reason. I might have to... make one. (Possibly more effort than I can be bothered with considering we're already going to be cooking a lump of meat and as many different types of vegetable as possible).

*Most of this year's cards say "A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year". But they are super-awesome and have a beautiful wolf on them. One that I have actually met in real life :)

I like getting cards at least as much as I enjoy sending them. But I don't care about reciprocity - if you can't afford to or don't have the spoons to send a card, then I'm happy to send you one without you needing to feel guilty about not sending me one.

I never send cards, and don't normally care about receiving them either; but I'm a sucker for wolves! (One of these days crocosaur and I are going to make it to Wolf Park.)

I don't have any wolfy e-cards though. If you want a wolf card, you'll have to give me your postal address - which I don't have and can't easily find from your livejournal userinfo.

Sent via message. And note that this is the first and only Xmas card I've requested this year, out of all my friends who've made posts such as yours asking for volunteers.

As last year, these answers are all too definite for me. I don't mind at all if I don't get a card, or if it's an e-card, or if it refers to Christmas. I will probably not send cards, but I might do.

While I always appreciate holiday cards, I also hate to put you out by asking for one. However, if you do want to send one, our address is the same as last year, and any combination of the four human household members cats will work. :)

It's really no hassle - I'm writing and have to get stamps for x cards already. Making that (x+1) isn't a big deal at all :)

Yes - and they are charity cards supporting the UK Wolf Conservation Trust which is based in a little village near Reading. She's not just "a wolf" either - her name is Dakota and I believe she is the most beautiful of all the wolves who live there. She has cancer though, so will not be around forever - but has already way outlived the predictions of how long she could live :)
