For some reason it's called Bi Visibility Day in the UK - not sure whose idea that was (though, given that I know virtually all of the loud bi activists in the country, it was probably someone I know). Here's the list of UK events.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to any of them due to being chronically behind with my work :( Though if I do, it's a tossup between the London event at the Pembury Tavern (lots of people I know will be there, but it's hard to get to) versus the Brighton event (will have an
artremis, almost easier for me to get to than north London). I always was bad at this kind of decision...

Date: 2010-09-23 11:51 am (UTC)Equally, if you were thinking of Doing An Event, it's easier to come up with ideas for visibility things than celebration things - the latter suggests you need a good few people and a budget for cake and partying; the former could just be deliberately wearing a bi lapel badge.
