On 29th March 1886 a new fizzy drink was launched by graduate chemist John S Pemberton in Atlanta, Georgia. Described as an "Esteemed Brain Tonic and Intellectual Beverage", it is now better known as Coca-Cola. In honour of this event and its importance to a certain person in my life, I am posting with my Richard picture :)

In sadder news, scientists have identified what they believe is the largest octopus ever seen, but he was not only dead but "badly damaged" :(

I found that octopus story more upsetting than the death of QM...
