WTF, body!

Seeing that I have to be on a train at 8.49 am tomorrow, I "cleverly" took a sleeping pill at a reasonable hour last night in the hope of waking up at a sensible time today. It's Zopiclone, the only sleeping pill which has ever worked for me, and it's supposed to knock you out for 8 hours. I set several alarms as well.

I then proceeded to SLEEP THROUGH all of those alarms and not wake up properly until 6 pm. So much for getting myself onto "being awake in the morning" time! It's now 9.45 pm and I'm still feeling incredibly wobbly, sleepy and spoon-depleted, despite having eaten properly and taken vitamin pills.

WHO ATE ALL MY SPOONS?

Btw, Richard has found the ultimate cat-herder for when bisexuals do need herding. As seen in several blogs, newspapers and even TV: Fenton the labrador (language not work-safe).

What dose of zopiclone? 7.5mg is doing absolutely nothing for me ATM, might as well not bother. Just like 30mg of pure codeine isn't even touching the edge of the pain :-(

are you getting the codeine otc or from the doctor. Their is a brand of paracetmol codeine mix called klippal which you should be able to get if your in france that I think is 25mg codeine and 300mg paracetamol: which means you should be able to take at least 2 and get a higher dosage of codeine.

I take 3.75mg. They don't tell you this, but among people I know on zopiclone, the recommendation is to take it no more frequently than every other day. Otherwise it stops working - as you've found!

How long before you get to see a doctor again?

I only got put on it on Monday, and it didn't even work on Monday night, so I don't think that's it.

Another 2.5 weeks till I next see the doctor, but I don't hold out much hope for getting any working pain relief or sleeping pills out of her, mainly because I don't think they've got to the bottom of what's wrong.(as in I think there are other things wrong beyond what they've already found).

I fully understand if you don't want to talk about your health in an unfiltered post in my journal, but I do hope they're doing some blood tests. Something quite major has to be up for you to hurt all the time!
