Mothers and text messaging.

I just got an SMS from my mum which reads:

I forgot to tell
you that I got 
your knickers 3
packs for the
price of 2. Xx

Whilst it's not up to adjectivemarcus' mum's illustrious standards, it's getting there.

My mum (whom I'd explicitly told not to send me any more 'female' underwear) was more subtle: she sent me a parcel with 6 pairs of knickers shamefully hidden in gift wrapping paper and a note saying 'couldn't get them all in white so I though yellow would be okay.' *shudder*

Yuck! I had at least actually asked my mum to buy me knickers, as she has a discount card for BHS. And she did buy the right ones. It was just the text message that disturbed me, rather than the underpants themselves :)
