Have been to the dentist

I went to the dentist and it was not traumatic! It may have helped that my dentist was an attractive woman ;) I've never had a female dentist before.

I am unsurprised to be told that I have a gum infection around the site of the erupting wisdom tooth. Probably there was bacteria on the back surface of the tooth which got trapped under the gum line. I have antibiotics and have been told to do salt water gargles.

I made an appointment for next week for a professional cleaning and X-rays, since the dentist couldn't see any reason for my top left tooth to be hurting. She said it would hurt too much to get X-rays done today while my gum was so inflamed.

Apparently I have very good dentition. My wolf pack is very pleased.

Glad dentist was lovely and sensible.

Hope antibiotics sort out the infection and they can work out what's going on with other teeth.

Nice! I didn't go to the dentist for millenia because of dentist phobia, and when I finally did it turned out that all of my widsom teeth were growing in sideways, entirely under the gum line, and were infected. However, my dentist turned out to be awesome, and gets me nicely stoned in nitrous so I can survive the appointments, and once I had surgery to remove the offending teeth, my record of tooth care has been very good.
