Is anyone else in London suffering from excessively over-chlorinated tap water?

Methinks the Thames is full of sewage again :/

I was thinking just that as I was writing the comment. I'm not sure why exactly. I guess it is to do with the volitiliy of the chlorine compounds they use, so perhaps just leaving a jug on the side would work too...
